YOUTH FORMATION

Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Mass. This ministry is open to all Preschool-2nd Grade Children, during the 9 am Mass (September-May). Children are called forward after the Opening Prayer to the front of Church where they then process out to the Chapel.  Students listen to the weekend readings and then participate in a craft. Family Faith Formation
Our Faith Formation Program is required for all Kindergarten thru High School Public School and Homeschooled Families.  The required Sacramental Classes for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation for ALL Students (Public, Private, Homeschooled) are included.  Catholic School Students in other grades are also strongly encouraged to attend these Classes.

(Optional) Daily Mass 5:30 PM

(Optional) Family Meal 5:50-6:20 PM

*Children 5th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult during dinner.

OCIA Classes for Adults/Teens wanting to learn more about the Catholic Church or to join the Catholic Church will be available in the Office Conference Room in the Office Building; 6:30-7:45 PM

Family Faith Formation Schedule 2026-2027
6th - 12th Grade Youth are invited once a month to come to the Cathedral for a Spiritual, Service, or Social Event. All public school, homeschool, and Catholic school youth are invited to attend and welcomed to bring friends. For more information, please contact Susan Stanforth.

High School Youth Ministry

Please join us at Sacred Heart Cathedral for High School Youth Ministry!  All High School Students from all area parishes are welcomed to join us for faith, fellowship, and food on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month from
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM; unless otherwise noted.
